Chief Val Demings Continues Three-Day Affordability Tour in Fort Myers
FORT MYERS— Yesterday, former Orlando Police Chief and candidate for the U.S. Senate Congresswoman Val Demings continued her three-day affordability tour in Fort Myers. Chief Demings is touring South Florida to meet with small business owners, workers, and community leaders to discuss how to make the American Dream accessible and affordable to all.
Chief Demings began the day touring Heritage Heights, a Habitat for Humanity community that will provide affordable housing for families in Fort Myers. On the tour, Chief Demings spoke about her work in Congress to deliver funding for affordable housing projects and promised to continue fighting to make the dream of home ownership a reality for more Floridians:
